How to Make Pizza Stuffed Garlic Rolls

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).

Lightly grease a round or rectangular baking dish.

Place the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and roll it into a rectangle approximately ¼-inch thick.

Try to keep the dough evenly thick so the rolls cook at the same rate.

Step 2: Add the Pizza Filling

Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving about ½ inch around the edges.

Sprinkle the mozzarella evenly over the sauce.

Add the chopped pepperoni, bell pepper, and black olives.

Finish with Italian seasoning and a little chili flake if you enjoy some heat.

Don't overfill the dough. Too much filling can make the rolls difficult to seal and cause the cheese to escape while baking.

Step 3: Roll It Up

Starting from one of the longer sides, carefully roll the dough into a tight log.

Try to keep the roll firm without squeezing the filling out.

Pinch the seam gently to seal it.

Step 4: Cut Into Rolls

Using a sharp knife, cut the log into approximately 10–12 equal pieces.

Place each roll cut-side up in the prepared baking dish, leaving a little space between them.

As they bake, they'll puff up and become beautifully golden.

Step 5: Make the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, combine:

  • Melted butter
  • Minced garlic
  • Fresh parsley
  • Italian seasoning
  • Parmesan
  • Salt

Mix well.

This garlic butter is what gives the rolls their irresistible aroma and golden finish.

Step 6: Brush and Bake

Brush the garlic butter generously over the tops and sides of the rolls.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.

Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed and golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

For an extra golden top, brush with a little more garlic butter during the final few minutes.

Step 7: Finish and Serve

Remove the rolls from the oven and allow them to cool for about 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley, Parmesan, and a pinch of chili flakes.

Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

And prepare for the cheese pull.
