Jokingly but it feels true.
Feeling that you can wash your own brain for once, so the clutter and confusion sticked can be rinsed off and you can think from a fresh perspective.
Of course, sleep does the same, but everyone can agree what quality of sleep we get in this distracted era.
We cannot escape baggage we can only carry it with grace and sometimes forgetfulness (in order to survive with less damage). During the time of things happening, we are tangled in every aspect of the current situation that we anticipate less about the impact it will have in long term.
I am not saying no one anticipates the consequence, but when we do we are left with less time to focus on the properties of solving atrocities.
If we are to manage our state of affairs with utmost grace, we lose something in return, yes, the need to vent, the need to not be civil (not in violence way), but in a way a human does.
We need to be more flexible, to stretch ourselves how much we can. In order to stretch we have to lose our stability, we lose our base.
It is pretty clear that people can withhold a certain amount, but they can surely bear a lot and do not break, even the fragile ones, they do not break easily. And if we don't break, we glue piece by piece.
That is why I said we need lobotomy because after being glued, we surely need new brain (pun intended), but for now we can just inhale and exhale.
